“What are your favorite healthy snacks?” A question I get asked often!!
First of all, I am a creature of habit. I tend to stick with the same snacks & meals just because it’s easy! I love quick, healthy snacks that I can grab on the go or whip up quickly. For me being prepared is the KEY to staying on track. Forgetting to grab something when running out the door can be the downward spiral to my day.
Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt is one of my latest cures when I am craving something sweet! Packed full of protein & always fills me up.
1 tbsp mini chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life)
Combine the Greek Yogurt with the nut butter, sweetener, vanilla and sea salt. Mix until smooth.
Top with Mini Chocolate chips. Enjoy!
I always have fresh veggies in the fridge. I always wash & cut them up so they are ready when I want something crunchy! My favorite hummus is the Sabra red pepper (either the original or the spicy if I am feeling BRAVE!)

My workout program is primarily weight training so I tend to NOT do a “fasted” workout. I personally feel I don’t have the same strength & stamina to get through it without eating. This is my typical pre-workout snack, just the right amount of carbs & healthy fats.
*Plain rice cake with almond butter topped with a half of banana.
